20 Live Water Hyacinth- Pond Aquatic & natural filter plants Overview

10 Nursery grown Water Hyacinth Your pond's best filtration plant!(Sell for up to / ea accross the country)NURSERY GROWN BY POND Specialists! These are not the bug/spot ridden plants commonly collected & sold in the south.Water Hyacinth - Eichornia crassipesThis is perhaps the most universally known water plant. Large clusters of large lavender flowers are held above the plant, which consists of a bunch of rounded leaves floating on hugely inflated stems. The plants float on the water's surface and are ballasted by large masses of black and purple roots. These roots are what make this species such a valuable asset in the cleaning of water. Everything from Koi ponds to municipal run-off benefits from being filtered by this worthy plant.Water Hyacinth produces beautiful flowers, filters water like no other plant, makes an excellent spawning medium for goldfish & Koi, and makes great compost!Who could ask for anything more?____________________________________________Please Note: We normally can only ship these plants East of the Mississippi to insure healthy arrival. ***We CANNOT SHIP to Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, Florida, & city of Chicago due to local/state regulations!******* Orders are only shipped on Monday or Tuesday ( or Wednesday for Ohio, KY or Indiana) to insure they arrive before the weekend.Caring for your plants upon arrivalOnce your order arrives, unpack immediately & float your plants in a shaded location in warm water for 24-48 hours before exposing to full sun. It is normal for your plants to yellow a little during transit & some roots may fall off, however the plants will quickly recover when placed in the pond. If your fish continually want to eat of the roots of your Hyacinth (inhibiting their growth) you may want to move them to an area the fish cannot access (waterfall/stream etc.).Thank you & enjoy your pond!
